Parallels
It is one of his worse ideas that he’s come up with (and yet it’s the best of all the ones that have come along in 900 or so years). Every movement she makes creates this feeling of joy that he can’t shake (but oh how he’d like to). Humans live in the moment (but while she sleeps, all he can think about is the future they can’t have).
Happily ever after isn’t possible (but he wishes that somehow he could give it to her). He would have gone to the end of the world for her (and he did). She swore she’d give him forever (and he tried to believe it, so that they could both keep going).

She knows it’s probably a bad idea to go with him (and yet it’s the best of all the ones that have come along in 900 or so years). Some days she has to fight the urge to kiss him (but oh how she’d like to). When she’s awake, she is thinking about the next adventure (but while she sleeps, all she can dream about is the future they can’t have).
She knows that she doesn’t have forever (but she wishes that somehow she could give it to him). She would have given up everything for him (and she did). Some days, her mantra was that they had all of space and time (and she tried to believe it, so that they could both keep going)

He knows better than anyone else that the future is never certain (but while they sleep, all he can think about is the future they can’t have).
He didn’t think that he could give them more than a day, much less forever (but he wishes that somehow he could give it to them). He would have died for them (and he did). Most of the time, he kept his thoughts on the fact that they had a lucky streak, and that the likelihood of dying was slim (and he tried to believe it, so that they could all keep going).
