I was at the opening night of the Hollywood Bowl this past friday. Let me just tell you how cool it was.
:: Cough cough.::
SO GOD DAMN FUCKING TEH SHIT AWSOME!
^^ :: Cough.::
Anyway, the live performances were of:
Andre Watts - Who was being accepted into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame as the first Pianist ever to accomplish all that he has at the ripe old age of 59. He is the first Pianist to be accepted into the HBHOF. He was also the youngest pianist to ever play with the Phil-Harmonic Orchestra at the age of 17. An amazing, amazing man.
Blue Man Group - They. Are. Fucking. Hilarious! These three individuals are amazing stage performers. They made their debue at the Hollywood Bowl that night, playing with their first full ochestra. Blue Man Group... are amazing. I love them ^^
Carlos Santana - Who was being accepted into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame as the best and most influential guitarist in the world. He was aknowledged for his international fame and his support of over 300 charities around the globe.
And the finale? The orchestral 'Firebird' set to fireworks!
Over all, I had a very fun time even though the seats were alarmingly uncomfortable. My favorite performance? Blue Man... hands down. :: Giggles as she recalls them.:: Ahhhh, yes. Funny funny guys.
