They sure are strange creatures :)

I think that sweater looks great and not even homemade! When you were talking about this earlier, I thought that maybe a 12 yo might not like homemade sweaters - but yours looks great! I'm amazed at the hood detail and rolled edges. I want one!

Welcome to teenage-hood for girls!

LOL! Thanks for the welcome! ;-D

Also for the sweet complements! It's only the second sweater I've ever made, so that really made me feel good.

The rolled edges are one of the things she hates about it. The one time she wore it, she kept trying to unroll the edges and got upset when I told her they were supposed to be that way.

I want one to! I'm hoping to be able to make one for me at some point, but I probably wont have the money I need to buy the yarn until after the holidays.

I haven't had a chance to try it yet. I haven't even been on the computer for about two days now. I've had a request from someone to make about 16 items, (white doll cloths that the lady is going to give as gifts as remembrance of there trip to the temple) and four of them have to be completed by tomorrow, so I've been knitting and crocheting like mad. I've got about three and a half done. I had to take a break though, my arthritis started bothering me. I probably wont be able to try knitting pads until after the holidays. Which is to bad, because I could really use some new pads, I had several of mine damaged recently and they aren't usable anymore.

Oh well, it gives me more time to decide how best to make them. :-)
