Poppy Eye: digital image, NOT altered in any way. CAW 2007
You know the Mac-PC tv ad when a completely bloated PC shuffles in, barely able to move because of all the add-ins? Well my computer is like that and worse! At five years old, this notebook is now ancient and staggering to the point of collapse under the weight of everything I need/want/must do on her. Her fan is running constantly, the power switch is temperamental, the battery is longe gone, I can't upgrade certain software because it's not Vista compatible. It's sooooo time for a new one. Maybe a Mac this time!?
Anyway, that's one reason I haven't been around here much lately. The time it takes to "simply" upload images to my host, then post here is beyond a lesson in patience.
But I perservered today and so have two new ditties to show. The Poppy (above) was a lonesome volunteer at the local park. It showed up at the base of an ancient maple then some dickwad picked it after about three days :(
And below is the first painting I've completed in months. Now that the block is broken, I have three more started. YAY!
