Stupid Forms.
I feel like an asshole.
The story:
I've been working on this project proposal with my friend Yiwen for the last three weeks or so, and he wrote up the abstract, and I wrote up the description, and I edited his abstract and sent the proposal to him for final review. He was on chat, so I said, "I sent it. Let me know if it is okay?" and he said, "okay, thanks." then he was quiet for a while, and I said, "I will need your contact information to submit it." and he said, "what info you need?" and I said, "it should be on the form, but I will look it up."
And well, the form is designed in such a way that to look at it you have to click through a bunch of different pages, so I said, "if I'm clicking through the pages, I might as well fill them out." and I plopped our information in there (title, abstract, description, etc.), and there wasn't a section for his contact information, so I clicked to the next page, and it thanked me for submitting my proposal for consideration.
Dammit.
So he says, in chat, "I will review. Let you know changes." and I was like, "wait, I misunderstood! I already submitted it!"
And he said, "what info do you need?" and I said, "I'm sorry, it's already submitted!" and he logged off.
I feel really bad now. I hope he didn't have any changes he wanted made. *sigh*
