Been busy
My sister and niece are here, and we have been busy campers. We've gone shopping for school clothes for my niece a couple of times, gone to see Despicable Me (which I highly recommend, it was very funny) and baked cookies to send to my cousin in Iraq. We painted pottery pieces at Paint the Town in the University Village last night. We're making pot roast in the pressure cooker tonight. We're going to the free concert at U. Village tomorrow after dinner with school friends of my sister's, and to the Barenaked Ladies concert at Marymoor thursday. Saturday is a Whale Watching cruise out of Orcas, which is something I have never done despite being a Northwest Native. Much petting and spoiling of the dog is occurring, and she is getting to the dog park more or less regularly, where my niece actually got her to swim! Family visits are still being set up too. We have an aunt and two sets of cousins to get together with. I took the week off to enjoy their visit, and am really glad I did, despite the financial strain it is going to create when I need to pay my bills at the end of the month. I really needed a break, and haven't had a break since last summer.
