Help me with my pictures!

Before Frank left, we had some family pictures taken.  It was a blast and the pictures turned out cute.  But I am completely unable to decide what to do next.  I need to make some basic decisions so I am relying on YOU (yes, you...  I'm talking to YOU)  to help...

Here's a link to the pictures.  I need to decide which of the close up pictures to use...  I like the b/w one best but I want to put it over my stairs, above the vinyl poem I have there and the wall is tan-ish (the vinyl is black).  I keep thinking the sepia would look best there but I like the b/w better.  My next problem is framing and sizes.  For some reason, I've been picturing the picture framed as an oval but that seems so 80's now.  HELP ME!  Next, the wall is 36" wide.  How big should the picture be?  The company who does the printing of the pictures also offers some framing for CHEAP.  Here's a link.  Which, if any of these, would you use?

Lastly, of the last 2 pictures, can you tell a difference?  I can't.  I want this one to go in the family room.  The room is dark blue right now, with a chocolate leather couch and a tan microfiber chair, red brick fireplace and light oak built in shelves.  The whole west wall is bare and there is about 46" of wall between the patio door and the window on the east wall that is bare.

What would you frame it with?  Mat or no?  As I said, the walls in there are bare right now, so there's a TON of room to work with but I just ordered this map

to frame and put in that room too.  It is 35X35, unframed.  I know...  Craziness ensues.  So what do I do?  Decorate my room for me, please!!!
