I also had requests for the cookies that my neighbor brought over. They were so fabulous. She says her secret is to make them really big but cook them as long as the smaller ones should be cooked. She laughed when I told her how everyone raved over them. She said, "They're just Betty Crocker!" Like that isn't worth raving over!
Betty Crocker Chocolate Chip Cookies
3/4 c sugar
3/4 c brown sugar
1 c butter or margaring
1 egg
2 1/4 c flour
1 t baking soda
1/2 t salt
1 c nuts (she used pecans)
1 package milk chocolate chips
Make them extra large. Bake at 375 for 12 minutes.
