(no subject)
I am slowly coming down from the awesomness that was Dragon*Con. It's gonna take a minute though, as it was four solid days of awesomness, and I'm already counting down the days I until I can do it again. Next big thing: Kings of Leon show in October. Actually, the next big thing should be planning my wedding, but I dunno, cooler and more pressing things seem to keep popping up. When asked why I wasn't actually planning my wedding and was instead focusing on picking out which panels to go to DragonCon, I replied, 'when a wedding is as half as interesting as D*C, I will most definitely apply the same amount of energy.' Seriously, I have no idea what I'm gonna do. I'm not stressing, I could stay engaged for a minute and not care, but other people are starting to get antsy. They want dates and guest lists, and blah, blah, blah, and who has time for all that when they're designing and creating steampunk ray guns? I know, right?
The library's pretty super so far, my boss is nice, my co-workers are cool, and I get to spend time just going through shelves, either putting books back or pulling books and placing them on hold. It's quiet, the patrons are friendly enough, and the library is like a month old so it smells of fresh paint and pages. Heaven.
