Damn you LJ, ever since I cut you off, my attempts to reconcile our once glorious confidant relationship seem to fail. I just fail to profess my stuffs.
anyways, currently i'm adding about 4,000$ worth of stuff to my wishlist.
This is what happens when i get back in to DJ'ing.
2500$ of course is completely unnecessary, aside from wanting to train myself on different gear.
I'm kinda pissy lately now that I have digital read-outs on the speeds of the turntables. Basically, I mean, yeah, they work, but I can still see the slight .01% flutter that they specify on almost every box and I can hear it now too, I'll sit there and match up tracks and have then going for 2 minutes straight and according to the readout, they're locked at the same BPM, yet they still diverge oh so slightly to create that flanged drum sound :(
Basically, CDJ's don't have this mechanical variance.
therefore it's strictly you and the music, no wrestling with all the shit that interferes with mechanical perfection, power anomolies, gravitational pull, the bounce of the club floor, and Turntables are just... big.. really....
I dunno, the damn cdj's cost more for one than my whole turntable setup would sell for though :\
how aggrivating. maybe I should just work on a better paying job 1st. hah.
