To tell the truth, I just picked these on a whim? I'm not sure that was the best idea now, but oh well… I wasn't sure what to translate, and I just happened to finish scanning the issues of TV Guide with the set of serials for myself, so...I thought, might as well? Summer and a bit of talk about concerts. Old, but somehow works...? I didn't read through everything before translating though, so there were a few surprises...to say the least.
Anyway, it's one member per issue and they took longer than I thought, so I didn't manage to do anything else...hence I will split them into two posts. Today and tomorrow. I'm cheating, shush.

Starting with this round, a new project, “Early Summer Date Gravure Spread”, has started! Tamamori Yuuta appears in this first round♪ While basking in the sun, if he makes a flower crown for his girlfriend...he talks about his ideal summer date and concerts as well ♡

My ideal summer date? Well, I’d probably go to the beach. We’d leave at around 9 in the morning. I’d go to her house before that to pick her up and we’d go together, yes? Then at the beach, we won’t change into our swimsuits and just fool around by the beach. Isn’t it cute when a girl carries like her heels and walk along the sandy beach? I like tank tops, so I want her to wear a tank top. As for her bottom, as long as it’s not a mini skirt, anything is fine. Somehow, I don’t really like to have my girlfriend wear a miniskirt. Also, if she can surf, I can bring my surfboard, but if she can’t, then I won’t bring it. There are girls who say, “I prefer watching from the beach,” right? That’s definitely a lie. That’s because it’d be boring if she’s all alone. It’s a date, so we should hang out together!
Next, we’d go shopping in a shopping mall and for lunch, we’d go into a rather nice looking restaurant and eat like hamburgers there. When it’s nighttime, we’ll go see fireworks that can be seen from the beach. Of course, I’d research something like that ahead of time. Well, it’s a weekend in the summer after all, so there should be quite a few (firework displays) going on. I remember how a fireworks display I saw at the beach in the past was really pretty, so I want to take her this time. We’d be holding hands from the beginning probably. We’re lovers, so our fingers would be interlocked. Dinner will be takoyaki or something at a nearby food stall. It’s really strange, but why are takoyaki from food stalls so delicious? Normally, I don’t think they’re that delicious. Lastly, we’d sit at the beach and watch fireworks. We’d talk to each other, saying things like, “I want to come again.” Then, the fireworks will go up with a bang, right? Everyone would look up instinctively, right? I’d kiss her then (laughs). This timing is super perfect, right!
Then, our concerts which have started with Osaka shows, and it’s been a while. It has become quite the amazing spectacle! This time, the set is just amazing. It’s because there’s machinery that you’d be surprised when you see it. I think that’s the centerpiece. Also, there are songs in the set list which people will be surprised about. I definitely want people who have been KisuMai’s fans from a long time ago to hear the opening. Of course, there’s “FuroSaa” too. [Note: It was a while ago, before they debuted? As Kitayama, Tamamori, and Miyata often shared rooms and took baths together, they started calling themselves 風呂サー / FuroSaa, which is taken from 風呂 which means bath, and サー as part of 三 (san) which means three.] That’s no longer an event or anything, but just something natural. It’s not like we’d do it or not do it.
Right right, during the tour, Watta, Nika, and Gaya will have their birthdays, so I have to prepare their presents too. I got presents for my birthday too, so I plan to return the favour properly. As for all the fans, since it’s summer, how about coming in swimsuits? It’s probably not possible, but if you do wear it, I might be so happy that I’d take photos (laughs). This summer, please definitely have a fun time at KisuMai’s concerts and let’s spend time together!

For the second person of the “Early Summer Date Gravure Spread”, Senga Kento appears! Let’s play under the sun! For such an active date, for some reason, the item he took out was…!?

My ideal summer date? I’d go pick my girlfriend up at her house at 10 in the morning. Our destination is of course, power spots (laughs). [Note: Power spots are what you can call spiritual places. Japanese people believe that if you visit such a place, you can receive power/mystical energy from the gods/nature/etc.] I’d have it so we’d reach a power spot somewhere in Chiba at around noon. We’d go and pay a visit to the shrine to get power, but this time, there will be an option to hug a tree. Actually, a while ago, I went with my friend, but the tree is actually beyond a path with bad footing. That place is really mystical and the scenery makes it feel like you went back to the Edo times… Where the path is rough, I’ll take her hand and escort her♪ But in the end, compared to getting power from the power spot, in my case, it’s more like going there to get healed. I really feel refreshed. That’s why I’d want to go with my girlfriend.
Lunch will be around 13:30 and we’d walk around and find places to eat at around the shrine. Like soba or mitarashi dango. [Note: Mitarashi dango are rice dumplings covered in a sweet soy sauce-based glaze.] If she’s going to dress up for me, then I’d be happy with any styles, but girls who wear American casual style are cool! I like it when girls tie up their hair. I think I like girls who are a bit boy-ish. I don’t deal too well with girls who are too weak and hesitant. Also, I love surprises! That’s why, this is just something trivial, but say we go and eat French food, and on the plate of our dessert at the end, if our names are written on it, that’d be nice (laughs).
A date I long for is holding hands with the girl and walking unashamedly through Shibuya! It just comes down to that. Of course, holding hands with our fingers interlocked (laughs). I’ll keep her company in shopping too. Then, when the light turns green at the scramble crossing, I’d go, “Let’s go!” and start walking...then maybe we’d kiss in the middle of the crossing (laughs). There are lots of people walking around in Shibuya, right? Just that makes things more fun. The bustling atmosphere is nice. Going on a “Shibuya date” with a girl had been my dream from a long time ago.
Then, there are the concerts. There are many songs from the album, but there are nostalgic songs too. We will also do songs that may betray everyone’s expectations, but also songs where people would think, “They sang it~” The set is amazing too and this time, we really discussed a lot about things among members. Also...I did the choreography for a song with four members and a song with seven members. Since there are the lyrics and melody to think about as well, it’s difficult, but I thought about moves we can do with the audience together and choreographed it.
During the tour, Yokoo-san, Nika, and Gaya-san will have their birthdays, so I want to celebrate those with a surprise. This time’s concert, from the opening, I think it will be a continuous streak of surprises and to see what kind of reactions everyone will have to how the album songs are performed...I’m looking forward to it myself! We have evolved in this one year, so enjoy it! As for what to wear when coming to the concerts, as long as you have the “s thundermark” somewhere, then it’s okay! Even painting on your foot would be nice (laughs). From those who will be coming for the first time, to those who come regularly and make individualistic uchiwas, I’m looking forward to you coming~!

The third person of the “Early Summer Date Gravure Spread” is Yokoo Wataru! When speaking of Watta, baseball comes to mind, so...we played with a ball together and we caught his innocent smile (laughs). He talks about his ideal summer date and concerts as well.

My ideal summer date is first, staying over at Kazu-nii’s (Kamenashi Kazuya) place the day before, and then we’d go out, right? Then...ah, it’s if I go on a date with a girl, wasn’t it? (laughs) In that case, since it’s summer, I want to leave home as early as possible, so we’d start off at 5 in the morning. Since the trains won’t be running yet, I’d go to my girlfriend’s house to pick her up by car. Since it’s summer, the car will be a two-seater sports car. During the morning, I’ll have her sleep in the passenger seat, and we’d head towards a mountain slightly further away. That’s because if it’s the beach, it’d be really busy. I’d tell her ahead of time to come in clothes easy to move in. I wouldn’t want her to tell me, “My shoes will get dirty,” if she comes wearing heels (laughs). I’d tell her to come dress up in a rough style of clothing which she’d be okay getting a bit dirty with.
Then, I think we’d head towards a facility where we can fish in the river and enjoy barbecues. It’d be a place where they’d let you rent all the tools and such, so we’d fish and eat what we get. I’ll research things like how to cut the fish ahead of time. Then, we’d put them on skewers ourselves and grill them with salt. At those kinds of places, they’d probably sell fish already grilled with salt, but as expected, it’d be more delicious with fish we got ourselves, right? After that, I think I’ll watch her have fun in the river from the shore. Then, when I say, “Well, let’s go and eat then?”, she’d go, “Ta-dah!” and bring out bentous. It’s like, “Really?” (laughs) I’d be happy with that kind of surprises. To be honest, with surprise presents, I don’t deal well with both receiving and giving them… If I’m the one giving it, I’d be all nervous...just thinking about it makes me distracted. Even if I receive a present, there are times it’s something you don’t use, right? Of course, I’m happy about getting something, but it’d show on my face immediately, so the other person would find out (laughs). That’s why, if it’s something like bentous, I’d be really happy!
If we’re to kiss at such a date...it’d be in the second half, I guess. On our way back, I’d go, “Let’s go to the beach at night!” and go to the beach. The two of us would sit down on the seawall for example, yes? We’d talk about things like, “The sound of the ocean is relaxing,” and we’d hear the steam whistle of a boat. In that kind of atmosphere, we’d kiss. But, when I talk about things like this, people might say, “What is this guy saying, even though he’s BUSAIKU?” For me, whose ranking position in KisuMai BUSAIKU? keeps changing, I get quite scared when asked about kissing (laughs).
Then, there’s concerts! It is obviously different from the concerts we’ve had until now, so I think everyone will be surprised. First, they’d probably be surprised by the set when they first enter the venue. After it starts, I think they’d be even more surprised. I want the girl fans to really dress up and come. Like how they’d dress when going on a date with their boyfriend (laughs). We’ll make it a concert you’d want to see again, so please definitely get excited together with us!

I like Higashino (Kouji)-san’s and Okamura (Takashi)-san’s show, “Tabizaru”, so I bought the DVDs and am watching them. I want to go on a trip… It feels like you’d have a lot of freedom and that’s nice. Also, things special to summer...I want to do fishing, wakeboarding, surfing, and such.”

When speaking of an ideal summer date...I want to go to a festival~ First, I’d go to my girlfriend’s house at about 11 to pick her up, yes? We’d go somewhere when you can see the beach by car and have a slightly late lunch. As part of a drive, all the way to Shounan. I’m sure she doesn’t want to tan, but if she says she wants to walk along the beach, we’d go for a walk together. I forgot to mention it, but from the moment we get off the car, we’d be holding hands the whole time! Of course our fingers would be interlocked~(laughs) We’d say things like, “Let’s go into the water next time,” as we walk.
Then, we’d take a break at a place where we can see the sunset, and when it has gotten a little darker, we’d start getting ready for the festival. She’d say, “I want to change,” so while she changes into a yukata in her room, I’d wait outside her place. Until she finished changing, I won’t look. If she comes in a yukata going, “Sorr~y for the wa~it~”, I’d think, “She’s so cute!!” (laughs). By the way, I’d change into a yukata too. Aah~ after doing this delusion talk, I seriously want to go to a festival now~ I’ve never done it before after all. A yukata is nice, yea.
Once we go to the festival, I want to do all sorts of things. As long as our time allows for it, anything and everything, like scooping goldfish and fishing yo-yo (balloons). In the middle of playing and chattering, I want to kiss unexpectedly. There would be many people, but I’d check that no one is watching and peck her. It’s nice...you’re so cute, I just couldn’t help but kiss you~ Dinner would be things like yakisoba or grilled squid from the stalls, and we’d eat shaved ice too. We’d eat Blue Hawaii flavour and when we stick our tongues out, they’d be blue (laughs). At around 9 at night, after the festival is over, I want to go home together and watch a DVD. That kind of date would be nice.
As for her clothes, within me, there’s something called, “a sexy lady-like (one-piece) dress that’d make me want to protect her”. If you ask me what kind of dress that is though, I wouldn’t be able to explain it well though (laughs). Sensuality is not just about showing your skin. You’re hiding it, but it just came out. That’s what’s good. I’m the type who wants to protect the girl. I also love surprises! If she is happy, then it makes me happy too. People can’t be loved if they can’t love. I send out messages to all the fans too, so I’d want them to accept them as well.
At the concerts too, I plan to convey things in a way true to myself, but this time too, there’s this voluminous feeling to it and I think you can see various sides of KisuMai. It’s a concert where you’d go, “Wow, what is this?” For my solo song too, there’s an adult-like feeling to it and I was particular with things as I created it. From lighting to video, to music, I talked about a lot of things with professionals from each field. I said my own opinions and I also got ideas well. Since there is no correct answer, I treasure my instinct while putting the performance together. I’m the type to really look at all the fans’ clothing and hairstyles, so I want them to dress up in their own styles. Anyhow, just wait for it!

When speaking of an ideal summer date...I want to go to a festival~ First, I’d go to my girlfriend’s house at about 11 to pick her up, yes? We’d go somewhere when you can see the beach by car and have a slightly late lunch. As part of a drive, all the way to Shounan. I’m sure she doesn’t want to tan, but if she says she wants to walk along the beach, we’d go for a walk together. I forgot to mention it, but from the moment we get off the car, we’d be holding hands the whole time! Of course our fingers would be interlocked~(laughs) We’d say things like, “Let’s go into the water next time,” as we walk.
Then, we’d take a break at a place where we can see the sunset, and when it has gotten a little darker, we’d start getting ready for the festival. She’d say, “I want to change,” so while she changes into a yukata in her room, I’d wait outside her place. Until she finished changing, I won’t look. If she comes in a yukata going, “Sorr~y for the wa~it~”, I’d think, “She’s so cute!!” (laughs). By the way, I’d change into a yukata too. Aah~ after doing this delusion talk, I seriously want to go to a festival now~ I’ve never done it before after all. A yukata is nice, yea.
Once we go to the festival, I want to do all sorts of things. As long as our time allows for it, anything and everything, like scooping goldfish and fishing yo-yo (balloons). In the middle of playing and chattering, I want to kiss unexpectedly. There would be many people, but I’d check that no one is watching and peck her. It’s nice...you’re so cute, I just couldn’t help but kiss you~ Dinner would be things like yakisoba or grilled squid from the stalls, and we’d eat shaved ice too. We’d eat Blue Hawaii flavour and when we stick our tongues out, they’d be blue (laughs). At around 9 at night, after the festival is over, I want to go home together and watch a DVD. That kind of date would be nice.
As for her clothes, within me, there’s something called, “a sexy lady-like (one-piece) dress that’d make me want to protect her”. If you ask me what kind of dress that is though, I wouldn’t be able to explain it well though (laughs). Sensuality is not just about showing your skin. You’re hiding it, but it just came out. That’s what’s good. I’m the type who wants to protect the girl. I also love surprises! If she is happy, then it makes me happy too. People can’t be loved if they can’t love. I send out messages to all the fans too, so I’d want them to accept them as well.
At the concerts too, I plan to convey things in a way true to myself, but this time too, there’s this voluminous feeling to it and I think you can see various sides of KisuMai. It’s a concert where you’d go, “Wow, what is this?” For my solo song too, there’s an adult-like feeling to it and I was particular with things as I created it. From lighting to video, to music, I talked about a lot of things with professionals from each field. I said my own opinions and I also got ideas well. Since there is no correct answer, I treasure my instinct while putting the performance together. I’m the type to really look at all the fans’ clothing and hairstyles, so I want them to dress up in their own styles. Anyhow, just wait for it!

It’s drama for me. Also, this summer, I want to go surfing! The other day, I went in the morning and went to work in the afternoon, and it was rea~lly nice.
Sometimes, it can be a secondhand embarrassment to read about these boys' ideals...
