Johnny's Juniors - Duet and Wink Up May 2011

May 10, 2011 01:00

As usual, the post about HiroSuke Crea's third day shows have been updated here, with mainly the report for 14:00 show. Not too much about 18:00, sorry.

As for news coverage, Zip! and Mezamashi didn't have anything surprisingly, and I don't think Sukkiri did either (I made dinner and ate through most of it, though I kept Keyhole on, on my laptop to listen). Morning Bird for Asahi however, did do a bit of coverage on the shows, but it was based on a newspaper article and the footage they showed was from last year's Jinsei Kakumei...apparently. I didn't catch it myself. Asazuba might have something, but I never caught its entertainment corner at all. The best was of course Ulala, the local channel in Tokyo (only? not sure), but being local, it's not available on Keyhole at all. Hopefully it'll be uploaded somewhere.

Newspapers wise (based on what's available in Kantou region), Daily has the biggest article with a large photo of HiroSuke and Tama taking out the tour schedule from the brown envelope. Sanspo was next with HiroSuke singing, apparently the costume they wore when singing Kiss Kara Hajimaru Mystery. Touchuu, Sponichi, Houchi, and Nikkan all had coverage of the shows. Touchuu was of HiroSuke in Hair costumes, Sponichi and Houchi of celebration of Mori-san's birthday so both Tama and Yamada were in photos while Nikkan was of Inori kimono costumes.

Anyways, Duet's Marching J pin-up makes me cry. Why so complicated and filled with stuff. I shall be whining at my Photoshop later, seriously.

Oh, and Miura Shouhei continues to be cute in Shima Shima. Seriously, him being drunk, oh my gosh. I have to catch up on a bunch of dramas, mainly all the episodes that came out this weekend and today as well since HiroSuke Crea stuff took over my fandom time, seriously.

I am completely being slower with stuff lately. I didn't manage to translate anything that's HiroSuke for the last day of shows before additional shows next, next weekend. Ah well.

14:00!

Last day of HiroSuke Crea shows before a break and then their additional shows because Ebi has to go off to Taiwan and can't do Part 4 shows then.

No relation at all, but have translations anyways. As usual. One article is requested by kelwy through help_japan while the other I thought I might as well translate it, lol.

Translation. Taiga, Masuda, Yasui. Duet's article is about school and they talk about things like club activities, school lunches, sports festivals and such, while for Wink Up, they talk about episodes related to backdancing for Yamapi for his solo tour.

School Special...③

【Club Activities】When I was choosing my club activities, I wavered between basketball, soccer, and kendo. I heard a rumour for kendo that "the equipment smells" and thought, that's not it (laughs). In the end, I joined the basketball team that first invited me to join. If I chose the soccer team, my life might have changed...?

【Committee Member・Duty】The school that I went to, the school rules were weird. It's NG to wear polo shirts, but it's OK to wear wooden clogs to school (laughs). If I joined the school council, I wanted to change those strange school rules.

【School Lunch】Actually, I've never had school lunches before! I don't know the "agepan" that everyone is excited about. I'm thankful towards my mother who made boxed lunches for 12 years. [Note: Agepan is a fried bread sprinkled with sugar (most common) on top and is said to be a popular menu in school lunches among children.]

【Sports Festival】On the day of the ball game tournament, I had a television appearance starting from the evening. When I though "it would end by the evening", we kept on winning and my heart was beating quickly for various reasons (dry laugh).

【Others】Whenever we changed our seats in class, I always chose the seat at the furthest back, on the hallway side of the room. The back of the window side is popular, but the hallway side is a surprisingly not well-known good place.

Kyoumoto Taiga

【Club Activities】The club I entered when I was in Gr.5 was the taiko club. In the taiko club, the parents of the head of the club gave us cake as refreshment once a month. That's the reason I joined (laughs). My purpose was 100% for the cake and since I didn't go to the practices regularly, everyone was probably angry at me.

【Committee Member・Duty】Since I thought my writing was neat, when I was in first year of high school, I volunteered to be the secretary. I was told by my homeroom teacher though that "Since you're busy, there will be times you can't come to school" and I couldn't get the position...

【School Lunch】I've always had boxed lunches, so I've never experienced school lunches. The "agepan" that everyone always talk about, I've never tried before either.

【Sports Festival】In school, we played tug of war and there's the fact that the opponents were our senpai too, but we lost tragically. That's fine, but I was angry at how I had scraped my thigh (laughs).

【Others】During break time, I play this game using pinecones that were picked up from the classroom's balcony, where you would break of only the decided number of scales. The one who ran out of scales to break off needs to play a punishment game!

Masuda Ryou

【Club Activities】When I transferred from the tennis club to the basketball team, in order to show my determination that "I'll seriously do my best!", I got a crew cut!

【Committee Member・Duty】I always did the grade representative committee member. It's not that I volunteered, but I'd be losing for jaken, or getting chosen through a draw, it's a mystery where when I realized it, I'm it...

【School Lunch】We often had strawberries, but every time we have it, I feel gloomy. I dislike how it makes you think it's sweet, but it's sour (tears). The combination of agepan and wantan soup is the best.

【Sports Festival】I'm bad at sports and was devotedly fired up for cheering. When I was in elementary school, I liked ball-toss game. I was good at passing balls that had flew to the back to my friends at the front. Since I liked supporting everyone from behind, compared to sports festival, I was more fired up for preparation for culture festivals~

【Others】Starting spring, I'll be in third year, and it's my last year of high school life! Even though I'll be a student preparing for examinations, I want to go play with friends as much as I can. Karaoke would be good! I've got to create memories of my high school times.

Soft Sunshine

Masuda Ryou x Kyoumoto Taiga x Yasui Kentarou

The three who are accompanying Yamapi on his solo tour. We asked them about episodes and such from the tour.

Kyoumoto Taiga

Since I was in the middle of examinations, I couldn't participate in Yamashita-kun's tour's Nagoya shows. Starting from when the concert started though, I was dancing at home. With the intention of standing on stage with everyone, it was while playing Yamashita-kun's songs. That's why my preparations are perfect! Even saying that though, this time, there are (professional) dancers as well and to respond to what Yamashita-kun wants, that hurdle is high and difficult. I'll do my best though. I heard various things about when they were in Nagoya. Like playing cards with everyone from FiVe. When I heard that, I thought, "Crap, I'm missing out on things!" (laughs). That's because with that flow of things, it seems like Masuda shared a high-five with Yamashita-kun. Since I admire Yamashita-kun, when I heard that episode, I ended up feeling a bit of jealousy.

Masuda Ryou

There are really a lot of things to learn from Yamashita-kun's concerts. Having us take the places of ABC-Z who had went to Hong Kong (with Yamashita-kun), first of all, that wall is very high. Right now, we're really desperately doing our best. It's our first time working with members from FiVe too. I was really touched that they were nice to us, eating meals together and playing cards. I lost at the card game though and it became "Exchange a high-five with Yamashita-kun during rehearsals". I didn't have the courage to go up suddenly and friendlily, but Rikiya-kun was like "Go, go" using gestures (bitter smile). With that, I thought I should just go and when I raised my hand saying "Good morning!", he went "Ou" and gave me a high five with no problems. It's great that Yamashita-kun treats us kindly~

Yasui Kentarou

The first thing I though was that it's different seeing Yamashita-kun from close. He's completely different from when I see him on television or in magazines! He's good-looking on television and magazines, but the real thing, he's beautiful and cool to the point of "Is there such a person in reality!?" We're given a change to backdance for such a Yamashita-kun, and the dances we do are different from what we've done up until now too and we get to participate in MC too. The first day, it was really bad due to nervousness and such. Anyhow, I was frantic. It's not just difficult though, but also really fun. It's our first time working with FiVe members too, but they taught us a lot of things and helped us close the distance with Yamashita-kun as well, so I was really happy. I thought that when I work with someone as a senpai myself, I would definitely do the same thing.

Both articles aren't that long and of the same three boys, so I put the two translations together~

I would like to go =( over Masuda's comment about strawberries. They are awesome! I like strawberries~ ...but I guess I should not be the one to make a comment when I'm completely fine with sour things and have no problem biting into a lemon...

Anyways, hope the translations are enjoyable~

Comments are love and appreciated~
