LEGAL! HUZZAH!
I'm utterly ecstatic with how my 21st went.
I had my Design "evaluation" this morning, which went over well. I'm actually going to miss that class, believe it or not. But I didn't do much for the rest of the day...I should have, but I didn't. Kristin, Jason, Alex, Ethan, Ryan, Becca, and Johnson all came to Olive Garden with me for supper. It was delightful...I bought myself my very first alcoholic drink (wine), and it was delicious with supper. Some things just go really well with Italian food.
Brian Rice, Ryan, Becca, Caitlin, Teresa, Brian Doree, Nicole Volner (plus sister and boyfriend), Alex, and Ethan all came to celebrate at Brother's with me. I had originally intended to bar hop, but it just didn't happen. Brother's had two-for-ones tonight, so naturally...it was a good time. I had a Sex On the Beach (which Ryan bought), Brian bought me two Mojitoes, Teresa bought me a Cherry Bomb shot and two sets of Three Wisemen (if that's ever offered to you...SAY NO.), Caitlin bought me a kiddie cocktail with vodka and a Butterball shot, Doree bought me two Cosmos, Nicole bought me two Dragonflies, and her friend Greg bought me a dirty shot of something extraordinarily strong and vile. 14 shots/drinks, ladies and gentlemen...and I'm still standing, not puking. I'm very drunk, of course, but not sick. I'm so proud. My madre will be pleased :) She's been freaking out about this night since this summer, but I was quite responsible. Take that, bitches.
I feel so loved :) I got so many birthday wishes today that it was just ridiculous. I enjoyed it. Only one day a year are you allowed to be selfish...on your birthday. It was a day filled with minimal fuss (which is exactly the way I would prefer it), lots of birthday wishes, and lots of drinks. The only drink I bought tonight was the first one...the glass of wine I had at Olive Garden. Every other drink I had was bought for me :) It was lovely. We're all going out again on Thursday night, so that should be delightful. And then of course, Lindz and I are going out with others to the bars in Minneapolis on Saturday. I have an every-other-day system going on, it shall be wonderful.
