I'm stage managing for Medea this spring :D SO EXCITED!!
I told Peggy that I was willing to do it, I've been chomping at the bit to stage manage something ever since my freshman year. Vivian told me to come talk to her after the Players meeting, and she just told me flat-out that I'm her stage manager :) It's going to be extremely challenging (because while Viv is brilliant in her own way, she's also partially senile and very shy), because Viv tends to put her stage managers in charge to the point where they're essentially the assistant directors, and that's exactly what I've wanted and been looking for.
Auditions are next week (which is frightening), but the show isn't until the beginning of April. Proof is at the end of this month and the beginning of the next, and Dancescape is right away once we're done with break until February, so the timeline makes sense, even if it is misleading. It's going to be a struggle juggling directing VMons and then going right into stage management for Medea, but I know I can do it. I'm just going to have no life. Again. But I'm ok with that :D
