I figured I should probably update, because I've been uncharacteristically quiet on here as of late.
Wit is over with, and with great success. Everyone I talked to was either completely blown away, a little reluctant to agree with the intensity, or loved it. We (being the THAD department) only received one formal complaint, which is pretty good considering the subject matter. During the post-production critique in Showcase, I got paid a pretty high compliment...Colleen said, "Rachel was wonderful to work with, and she was vital in her role and helped me out more than words can say. She did an excellent job as assistant stage manager, and if anyone wants to learn how to do the job, I would either watch Rachel or have her teach you, because she knows exactly what she's doing."
That pretty much stunned me speechless and shut me up for the rest of the critique. Gave me warm fuzzies, though :) Makes me happy to know I did well.
Only about a month left of the semester, thank God. It's gone by so fast...I know I say that all the time, but seriously, it has. I really have to watch my step in my bio class...my feelings about that particular subject can be seen and highlighted in
fatafat's lovely drawing from yesterday.
In other news, I'm coming home this weekend to work and also to see South and North's shows. Any other drama junkies gonna be home and want to come see them with me? I'm going to North's musical, Grease, for sure on Friday night, and if I don't work Thursday night, I'm going to see South's show and going to Tapestry afterward for free dance. Any takers? (*coughcoughTHERESA&JASONcoughcough*)
It's really nice out today. 62 degrees in November is awkward.
