it's like...
i'm in a room. shaped like a type of polygon, let's just say like a hexagon. and along each side is an open door. there's 5, maybe 6 open doors. and, again, i said "like" a hexagon, but not necessarily one.
and i'm standing in the middle of the room. i can't see what's beyond any open door, but just a bursting white light coming out from the "other side". i run towards one open door. it slams shut. so i try the next one. same result. i run to each open door and it slams shut before i can get there. and now i'm just sitting in this room. all the doors are closed. and i curse. couldn't just one door stay open for me? i find myself trapped, here. and now i'm hungry. at this point, i just want to get out and get some food. and i am denied even this.
