Wow, I don't even know where to begin. My life has changed so much already. It's amazing how a move can change a persons outlook on life. Everything is so much different when you are living on your own. I absolultly love it more than anything. I've met some amazing people here already, and I love my appartment! It's seriously so beautiful. The view from my balcony is amazing. I have a pond with a fountain, tons of trees, the swimming pool beneath me...and it's so peaceful. I'm actually sitting out here right now. <3
As soon as I find my camera charger I will take pictures and post them, but in the mean time, this is the best I can do.
Yesterday was really my first day out because the 2 days before that I was busy unpacking and decorating. I met a bunch of guys at the pool and we played bags...it was the first time I had ever played so it was pretty interesting lol, but then I finally got the hang of it, and I wasn't too bad! Later on that night I went to their appartment because one of the guys..(Kyle) wanted me to meet his girlfriend Ashley. He thought we could be pretty good friends...so I went over to their appartment. She was really cool, and I met a bunch of other people too. Kyle, Ashley, Leah, Jeff, Ben, Mike, Matt, Ryan, and a few others. We drank a lot lol, so it was fun, and we all danced and I learned how to play a few card games. I walked back to my appartment around 1 or so (I'm not very far at all) then I layed down for a while, then Steven finally came to my appartment around 3 in the morning and we watched Donnie Darko and fell asleep.
Today my Uncle took Steven and I out to eat at Don Pablos down the street, then we went to downtown Indy for a while. We went to the circle center mall and played in the arcade...not to mention I beat Steven at every game except for one :) Cause I'm amazing haha jk. But it was so much fun. Then they had to leave. After that I went over to the guy's appartment and I drove them all to Panda Express, only to find out it was closed...so we decided to go to Culver's instead. Then we all went back to the appartment and drank some more and played cards. So far, my move has been awesome, and I don't regret it for anything.
Yeah, I do miss a few things back at home, mostly my Grandparents and Buddy... but the good here definitly out weighs everything else. I think it is the best decision I have ever made in my life.
I do miss one person though terribly, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. I guess it's just something I'm going to have to get over on my own. Even though I know this is the best thing for us both, I still can't help but wish otherwise. There's just something different here...I don't know exactly what it is...but yeah.
Life is pretty unpredictable.
