(no subject)
Family trip is over, thus the only things I'm looking forward to now as far as vacations go is MAINE! Less than a month away, I decided to "schedule" out the trip for those that are coming. In the cut is the list of activities, fees I know for sure, and things to bring.
This schedule is a rough break down of activities we can do and what days. I get this vacation scheduling for my mother. I want it to be organized so we aren't wondering what we are going to do, so this will at least help and give you an idea of what there is.
I talked to Jess yesterday and she really wants to see Jennette. Jennette lives an hour and a half east from Bangor, so we'd have to drive the hour from Ellsworth + the 1 and 1/2. I thought we'd leave sometime on Saturday just to save two nights worth of a hotel fee if it's possible to check out earlier (remind me to call Eagle's Lodge to have them email me my rates and confirmation @_@). We'd have to leave earlier from Jennette's to catch our flight home, but I think it's doable?
The tours and museum visits probably have a fee, I'll double check on those. I don't imagine them being more than $10 a person.
Tammy, can I get your flight itinerary so I know what gate to pick you up at?
August 10 (Sunday):
-Krista and Jess arrive in Bangor at 4:30
-Rent car at the airport. (Jess, reserve car!)
-Check in at a Super 8 for the evening.
-Dinner.
-Pick Tammy up at the airport at 9:30.
August 11 (Monday):
-Check out of Super 8 and drive to Ellsworth. (should be around $25 a person.)
-Check in to Eagle's Lodge.
-Explore Ellsworth.
-Get groceries. (groceries will be split between the three of us as far as cost.)
-Eat Lobster!
August 12 (Tuesday):
-Bar Harbor (mall, walking around, photos, Whoopie Pies!)
August 13 (Wednesday):
-Acadia National Park.
August 14 (Thursday)

August 15 (Friday)
-Tours in town (historic and lighthouses)
-Bar Harbor Jazz Festival
August 16 (Saturday)
-Revisit
-Bird Sanctuary
-Ship Harbor
-drive to Jennette's and stay until Monday?
August 17 (Sunday)
-Chill and take pictures.
August 18 (Monday):
-checkout of Eagles Lodge ($270 per person. Though, if we stay at Jennette's, check-out day and hotel fee will differ)
-Fly home (1:35pm, Jess and Krista)
Groceries: (suggestions mostly)
Paper plates, kitchenware, plastic cups
Styrofoam cooler
Bread
Eggs
Mac and Cheese
Cup of Noodles
Spegettios
PB & J frozen sandwiches
Hot dogs
Boxed pasta/casserole
Soda/water/juice
Munchies (chips, crackers, candy)
Anything that can be cooked via microwave and any good food you guys want.
Stuff to bring: (this is my list. Modify to your needs and wants)

Reading book

Camera
Comfy shoes for walking
Hoodie/jacket for chilly evenings and possible rain
Movies (Tammy, what movies did I tell you I was bringing? XD)
