I'm just fretting because I have two comics stores I have standing orders with (some of the dudes from one left and opened their own; now Mary has two houses and two bedrooms and two Christmases) and like 90% of my monthly buys are DC, so now I'm worried I won't pick up as many new titles as I drop old ones when I make the shift to being more indie and a bit Marvel. MY LIFE IS ACTUALFACTS TOUGH.

I was just thinking about you yesterday! Because I was scatterbrainedly reading various old Marvel comics, and I saw a letter from you in a Captain America issue, and then I read last week's Captain America (now called "Captain America and Bucky"...apparently? Hell if I know what's going on with names and volumes and numbering) and wished I could send it back in time to 2005 when it would have broken your brain, in only good ways. It broke my rule of "backissues only, NO NEW SUPERHERO COMICS," and I'm not going to let Marvel have my heart, because, well, look what DC did to it--but maaaaan, that issue. It gave me flashbacks, I swear. Most of them involving you. *g*

Relatedly, if a sequel to Rescuers should ever occur, I will surely go mad with glee. Just so you know.

I'm sorry your day job is sucking, and I think 25,000 words on one story in <4 months is pretty impressive. Writing a single long thing is so much harder than writing an equal amount of several short things.

Ahahaha Mary in 2005 appreciates your wish to send her awesome things! :D I'm glad at least something in comics-world is going well presently considering how much is SUCKING.

I am glad I have such awesome associations in your excellent brain, m'dear. :D

Rescuers sequel is a definite, provided neither Audrey or I die in the next few days. And considering tomorrow is Yet Another Deadline Day at work, that's an actual but slight possibility, bleeeeeeeergh.

Nothing wrt my writing is impressive, because I know a zillion people way more talented and prolific than I could ever be.
