What do you call a bird that talks?
A parrot! (or a macaw, I suppose)
Now that I've broken the ice, let's delve deeper into this update. Today is Thursday. That means tomorrow is Friday, meaning I have 3 tests to take, and I still have a packet of worksheets to do for homoistory. Have I mentioned how illiterate my social studies teacher is? I know I have, but no one remembers. On our quiz about the 1950's yesterday, she typed (I am not making this up):
This was a book written by J.D. Salinger. It was band from libraries and schools because of it's content.
Later, while discussing the assassination of JFK, she wrote "precent" on the chalkboard. Precent. As opposed to precinct.
I hate her so much.
In other school news, the Investment Club started Tuesday. I went to the inaugural meeting, and it was fascinating. We spent roughly fifteen minutes discussing what was going to happen in it. We were then handed a paper displaying future meetings (the next is the 20th or something @_@), and then we left. I'm looking forward to the first meeting of Digital Photography Club, which sounds much more interesting to me. Also, TRIVIA BOWL!!!! starts Monday. In TRIVIA BOWL!!!! I will be able to display my terrific talent of knowing things most people don't (and shouldn't, if they want to be ruled sane) know. And finally, a girl (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) gave me a high-five today.
I had something else to say, but the thought of the high-five distracted me. Sorry.
