Today is my last night in Edmonton. I leave on a plane tomorrow at 7AM, which means I have to be at the airport at 5AM, which means I'm getting up at 4AM, which means ughhhh.
Some random things.
- I didn't get to see the northern lights at all. I like the northern lights.
- I'm drinking my last Tim Horton's mocha as I type. It is delicious.
- I didn't get to spend as much time with my brother as I would have liked; but we did make a killer rap song about peanut butter.
- I just hung up the phone with Misha for the last time in Edmonton. But even though we talk on the phone all the time when I'm in Boston anyways, it's different when I know that we're in the same vicinity instead of not. Like... I can visualize driving to her house from here. From Boston there is a lot of unknown in between.
- New Englanders really have no idea what cold is. I will expound on this shortly.
- I got used to my bed here again, finally. This is unfortunate, because I will have to unlearn my sleeping habits.
This is all I can think of at the moment.
And now to expound on winter.
And for more of that wintery goodness, you New Englanders should go
here. And I think, in a strange way, I'll miss the snow, even though I didn't get to go skiing. But at least it will be less likely that my fingers will fall off from the cold.
See you Bostoners soon.
