So first off I should probably mention again that even though the character refers to Kuni as her uncle; they are not related. Unless this is a change only made in the english, it's never seen as an issue either way.
So Kuni is some laid back millionaire. He has risen in the business world forming his own company at a pretty young age. I'm not sure his exact age but I think it's in the 29-32 range. In the long run, my point is, that he's very successful.
But because of his laid back attitude it always seems like he doesn't take anything seriously. Often joking around and lazying about Long Island. It's hard to believe that he can run a business while hanging around his bar with his buddies!
Though you could almost say he functions like an on and off switch. His calm and cool demeanor assists a great in the business world. Oddly though they never really state just WHAT he does. He's just bluntly labeled as a 'business' man.
Either way, this story starts out much lie Yuta's. You turned down helping any of the initially four and have been working at Long Island. Here is also where you live in a small apartment atop the restaurant. Even though you are feeling rather unfulfilled with life, you can't really complain. At least everyday is interesting with Kuni and the others.
Where the plot begins is when Kuni gets a troubling phone call. One of his business partners has been harassing him to marry his daughter. Not only because it would be good for both companies but since the daughter has fall in love with him! Kuni states that he isn't interested in marriage though; and wishes to turn them done without hurting business ties.
With that he gets an idea; at this point you must know where this is going. Kuni asks you to pretend to be his fiancé for one night to get them off your back. Promising in return that he'll assist you with finding a career over being an assistant in the bar. Even though you want to help Kuni, you do feel uncomfortable with the idea. But finally you decide to help him out.
Luckily they end up buying into the act pretty easily; but like all the other routes it can't be that easy. Later that night after returning you to Long Island; the phone starts ringing along with Kuni's cell. After a quick conversation on the phone, he checks something on his laptop. Needless to say he isn't pleased at what he finds.
Apparently the girl he turned down runs some kind of gossip blog and out right names Kuni and yourself on it. Talking about the engagement and such. Kunihiko being the head of a huge company can't just ignore this. If he denies it, he loses face to the public and the other company. So, the two of you are stuck pretending to be newly weds until everything dies down.
With that you end up moving in with Kuni. Things don't really seem to change much between the two of you. It's like all the summers he spent with you when kids. Though of course things can't go so smoothly.
Not only do you find Kuni, the usually open and fun guy, sneaking off without a word. Following him one day with Yamato you discover he's spending time with another woman. But it isn't like you would care anyways. All you care about is why he would be keeping it a secret from everyone, not just you.
Not only this, but you end up being berated by the blog girl. Stepping out of her limo while you're walking down the street with Kunihiko; she begins to rip you apart. Claiming someone of your class and appearance has no rights to even stand next to him. With that she promises that she won't rest until Kuni is hers.
What is one to do with all this drama? Well you'll have to find out for yourself.
Though one extra thing I will say in this route is that I loved the end speech Kuni gave. How he loved you because you're a woman who can stand on her own two feet and doesn't need him. He doesn't want someone who just melds into his side like an accessory.
In the end he got tons of points for that. Because I totally agree that a woman with strength is better then a doormat anyday!
