The weekend
So I was planning on studying for my two midterms that I have this week (Computer Science and Math) but planning really doesn't get things done. I wonder if a list would have helped...
I spent Saturday hanging out with friends at my apartment (it's the only place big enough with no parents and flowing drinks). That was fun. I hadn't seen them in a long time. It's been hard to see them because I'm not much of a phone person so I rarly call and I don't work with them anymore so I hardly see them. I went shopping at Wallmark and Michaels. I bought some craft stuff to re-paint my garden gnome, Charlie, and more flowers and pots to extend my garden of two tera-cotta leafy plants. He was getting lonely. I know have three tera-cotta pots, three window boxes with snapdragons, a square flower box, and a plastic pot thing with another leafy green thing. My balcony looks sweet and inviting now. At the beginning of the month I put of heart garland for Valitines on the railing. I need a tiki torch, patio chair and a Welcome mat to make the picture complete. I should take a picture and post it up.
My downstairs neighbor came up and borrowed two of my muffin/cupcake tins. They were making cupcakes for Valintines. I felt helpful and a good neighbor. I wonder if they liked my little garden. Charlie, my garden gnome, is a sitting gnome. I made him a cardboard bench a while back but the rains have made it soggy. So I bought a little wooden box at Michaels and painted it with flowers and his name. It looks sweet. Charlie looks all shiny. I can't put him outside yet because I haven't varnished him against the elements. He's so vain.
