taking a break
I am starting to understand why my old boss acted the way she did sometimes. It is no wonder she was frazzled all the time and acting like a chicken running around with her head cut off. This place is crazy. We don't have nearly enough people in my section and everyone wants us to do something for them. It is nuts too because we will go a couple of weeks and it will be calm and I will think we are starting to get our heads above water and them bam, everything will go wrong all at once. We are trying to get 2 new programmers hired but the paperwork for that is a Personnel nightmare so it could be 2 more months before that goes through. UGH.
On a brighter note, I think I am getting a head cold too. When it rains it pours.
But seriously on a brighter note. My daughter is awesome. She will be spitting out words any day now I just know it. There have a couple times in the past day where I could have sworn she said ball or up but I just wasn't totally sure. She does say Uh Oh very well though. She will not just drop her sippy cup but spike the freaking thing and then smile real big and say "Uh Oh". She cracks herself up.
In other news, how freaking hard is it to get someone to come and put gutters on my garage!!!!! I would think that people would want to work and make money but I can't get anyone to call me back. I have had a few even goes as far as to give me estimates and then when I try to get them to come and do the job they won't call me back. What is up with that????
