Probate Examiner's notes indicate the estate should be settled within the next few weeks.
I still feel quite numb about this.
I had an epiphany.
My peace of mind has nothing to do with what my brother does or what he thinks.
I think I will not send that letter; I will instead take the higher road.
I will politely send the pictures to Bruce. I will follow up with more as I find them.
I will pay for Mom's ashes to be interred and will then send a note and ask if he can pay me back for half of the expense.
If he doesn't, it has nothing to do with my behavior; it will all come back to Bruce and his character.
