This is profound. I have been dealing with family stuff for a few years and it has dredged up a lot of negative feelings in me. I recently had an epiphany and realized that I was only responsible for my feelings and the others are responsible for themselves. I have decided that I will take the high road and remain true to myself. I refuse to lower myself to the other's level. I feel lighter now and am now on the road to taking better care of myself.
