just got back from MS's room. i have the honor of being his first friend at stony brook. anywayz he and his suite mates are hilarious - just the diversion i was looking for.
interesting note: towards the end of the night a guy who had been hanging out there was making a joke and grabbed and hugged me. felt weird. not because HE was being weird but because a guy hadn't touched me in that way (friendly flirty kinda way) in.....i'm not even sure how long. i generally don't drink with guys i dont know anyway but for a reason too............
it's been a weird week. i'm not as sad as i thought i would be (give it time!) but i'm as far away from happy as i can get without laying in bed all day eating ice cream. everyone tells me to stay busy. keep pushing forward.
i'm going to conference this weekend. redoing my resume. researching jobs. trying to see my friends as much as i can.
trying to stay focused and motivate myself to look beyond the right now. to look to the future. somewhere that doesn't hurt so much.
