shock and sadness
I was horrified when yesterday morning I learned that beautiful Steve Irwin was killed by a stingray in the coral reef. Such a terrible loss to the world! He did so much to help save animals, and educate people about them, and was so vivacious and full of life. After watching him last week with the deadliest snakes, and seeing him almost get bit numerous times, it was terrible to have him get stabbed in the heart in a freak accident. I guess he was swimming just above the stingray, and it became alarmed, and jabbed its barbed tail at him to warn him. Unfortunately, it pierced his heart. God, Carl and I feel for his poor wife. We will miss him.
