It's been a relatively slow weekend, but after the last two months, that's ok! We attended Missy's baby's 1st birthday yesterday. That was alright. It was in this beautiful park, with green rolling hills, and the sky was bright blue. There were plenty of trees for shade, but I preferred to hang out in the sun, on the blanket. The baby preferred this as well, and he stayed there for most of the day, by me. He's a cool kid, doesn't do annoying things. Last night we enjoyed another splendid fire out in the summerhouse, and I did not drink. It's much better that way. I think next time we go to the other house, I will put in a fire pit. Dad said he's putting in a bigger pool. Probably not till next year though. Today we have done virtually nothing. I should probably pay the damned bills, but I never do that until the last possible minute, and by then I've spent way more than I should have on "fun" things. I feel there should be an endless supply of fun money for everyone.There would be less war probably. Who'd fight in them if everyone were off on five and six day cruises? Oh! I spotted this fabulous little "safari" vacation in a magazine, and I want to go!!!! Besides Carl is getting a new safari hat, so it would be perfect. You get to stay in these tent cabins with verandas, and luxury baths, and go on day safaris. I wonder if they do it during the fall and winter, or just summer. I'll have to look into it.
