The trip to Laughlin/Bullhead seems to have left me quite listless! I haven't even got the energy to do a thing around the house once I get home from work. I sure hope that goes away soon! I need to SERIOUSLY work on my neglected yard! My hedges are deplorably overgrown, there's grass growing up through the geraniums, the flower beds need weeding, and then there's the LAWN. Carl will have to do the lawn, I just can't. I really miss my groundskeeper! He took care of the enormous lawns, and I was able to handle the flower beds, but since he's passed away, my yard is just too much for me. Now we've really complicated thigs in the western corner of the yard by adding a summerhouse. Now we must get out the weed trimmer, and ever so carefully peck away at the grass around the edges of the pavilion. Oh well, I don't really mind doing the work, it all looks so lovely when it's done, it's just "Where am I going to get the energy to do it?"
On a happy note, I was able to locate a book I've been coveting for some time...The Illustrated Hassle Free Make Your Own Clothes Book. It's a hippie sewing book, that makes the daunting task of making clothing a snap. It should be here in 5 days!!!!!! I already have the sequel to it- Son of Hassle Free Sewing, and have made almost everything in it, so I need a new one, and I just do not know how to figure out patterns. Way too complex. This book just has you lay out an existing garment over your material and cut, leaving a seam allowance, of course. Much easier! I can't wait till it gets here!
