There is definitely a conspiracy within our guild to malign Missy. People are simply horrible! I actually think some of the folks involved are jealous of her because she is so pretty and has a lot going for her. I don't want to be involved in all this ugliness, and I will fight like a demon with anyone who tries that shit with me. I hope they all know better than to encourage my darker side to surface.
On a happier note, we attended Doug's wedding yesterday, and had a nice time. Got great pictures, some even a bit compromising, of a few folks, but what wedding pictures don't contain some of those? These people are bartenders, there was more liquor at this reception than at any local bar! Doug made bottles and bottles of homemade cocktails- Mai Tai, Malibu and mango, Blue Hawaiian, etc, plus a FULL BAR all free. I tried a Mai Tai, and quickly saw the error in that, and switched back to the rum punch. A few of our friends are no doubt feeling peaked today. I am simply tired. Only slept six hours last nite. My parents were leaving quite early today. At least we will see them next week, when we go to Laughlin. I can't wait to go for brunch at my most favorite restaurant on earth. Other than Blue Bayou at Disneyland. Granny's Gourmet at the Pioneer. Do not be deceived by the name...Granny's is the finest French restaurant, most elegant and subdued. The food and libation cannot be topped, and neither can the service. We made our reservations weeks ago, and I eagerly await the day!!!
