Car Rental

Ok, so I'm a slacker and haven't reserved my car yet. I'm glad I did, actually, 'cause Avis actually has better deals than Budget (where I was going to reserve a car from before). For the price of a full-size through Budget, I can get an SUV through Avis.

So now I'm trying to decide if I should rent a full-size auto or an SUV. The SUV costs $5 more, and with the difference in gas milage, will probably cost about $20 more in gas. But, I would probably be able to fit a lot more of my junk, if not all of it. So, I may be able to save on any shipping costs from having to ship boxes out via FedEx. Not to mention it may make taking my bike and snowboard a little easier.

I'm going to have to make a decision tonight and make my reservation. I'm leaning towards the SUV, which will likely be a Chevy Trailblazer (or similar).

And I just checked with Nintendo's WiFi Connection locator, since my Internet access may be sporadic for the first month or so in Denver, and McDonald's all over Denver have the Nintendo hotspots. So, I can pick me up a copy of Metroid Prime: Hunters, and go to a McDonald's to grab some lunch and play against other people from all over the world in some Metroid first-person shooting ... for free (well, if I buy lunch, I pay for that). Sweeeeet. Now to just find out where the libraries are for checking my e-mail and LJ and such (though, an official DS web browser is in the works, and the homebrew community is working towards one, too ... but neither of them looks like it will be of use to me when I would need it).
