Barking Lizards down in Texas, yehaw!

Just got back from a disgruntling, long flight from Texas to here at the dusty rocky mountain, Glendale. Yeap, got to visit the one and only Lone Star state Texas, yeehaw! Just a one day trip to visit our artists for the now official project of the century. The project that will tell Warner Bros. Online that we have our rightful place and will soon swallow them whole and then take over their undeserving position.

This business trip is to simply meet up face to face with the external art group, Barking Lizards. They are well established and have a good record track of previous pint-sized game titles. They know what they are doing and the whole day meeting gives me great confidence that they will bring us the glory this project will achieve.

As far as I could tell, they are excited to work on this. The glee that sparked in their eyes can only tell you so much that a beast is ready to be unleashed. This is the shit, the rightful game that will fully express their sadistic visions and bring it to life in a pixelous raging beast of a cellphone. Like any down right badass cellphone artists should. We all enjoyed going through the design document and we knew we set the tone right.

They are a great bunch and it is so important that the chemistry is set correctly. I always enjoy talking to artists, being able to comfortably open to them with the wild stream of imagination. Plus they all enjoy the games I like.

We will see. For the first time in this giant of a corporate, semi-bureaucratic environment hazardous to creativity, I feel like I must make the best out of this game.

Texas is pretty much a super-sized world of Humvees and 4WDs...as one would put it in a glimpse of a one day trip. I ain't stereotyping our old friend Texas, as anyone would know that you "don't mess with Texas". But that's my one speck of view. It ain't all that. After all, as Richardson, the small city near Dallas is pretty much...well...desolate. Just glad to meet up with the artists and that's all there is to it for the trip.

My journey to the Warner Bros. Online has simply begun.

Later y'all.
