I went running with Archie yesterday. it was the afternoon and when I left my house it was in the mid-eighties. It was the mid afternoon, the hottest part of the day but it was long slow run day so I figured we would take it easy and be fine.

After a very full day (and very little sleep in the night) yesterday I grabbed the doggie and went for a run. At 8 PM. Five to six miles on the trails. About 2 miles in I realized that the light was fading fast. We turned around at 2.3 miles and started pushing for home. It was supposed to be a long slow run. It was the correct distance.
