It seems seven weeks have gone by since I last posted? Strangely it does feel like that long ago. The best way to get me to update or write long overdue replies is to give me a large assignment, such as the one looming over my head for this weekend. Quite alot of work needing to be done by Tuesday, but instead I decided I really needed to bring Harish, my "roomate" to Krispy Kreme donuts, I also needed to catch up on myspace messages and comments, as well as to write a few random ones. I blame the random ones on time. I tend to get drunk on tiredness and write things that are, not bad, but definitely not necessary. Take for instance last night. I joined freecycle arlington and paperbackswap. This morning I got confirmation emails from them and then felt confused as to when I actually did that last night. Oh, I also took multiple quizzes online. Such as the right brain left brain dominance test, several of these and the IQ test. My IQ appears to fit in the average level, which isn't too surprising but maybe relieving? It would have been a swift kick to my ego if it had been lower... As far as right/left brain dominence is concerned the rotating dancer test very clearly said I was a right brainer, which makes sense with art and the type of reasoning I find myself doing. However, the other tests, 3 others to be exact, said I was middle brained and congratulated me for being smart and having,"the best of both worlds".
But usually I just feel confused, so perhaps some dominence would be nice.
On the topic of confused, I would just like to say that TV is responsible for the worst kind of brain fog I have experianced. Having a TV in the house(my roommates), seems to be sucking any brain cells I had, leaving large empty gaps that my brain waves are having trouble bridging. It's either that or age is frying my brain. I'll be 23 in 2 months or so.
Today,(this can be grouped with random messages sent on myspace)I sent a very random message to Ben Kweller, I know, right, why? But Mike doughty wrote me back so maybe Ben Kweller will too, this is my 2:00 a.m. reasoning. I also sent a message to a guy I knew in Yosemite but haven't talked to or seen in 4 years. It will be interesting to see what he has to say. I'm not sure why I even wrote him, in the morning I'll just claim I didn't know what I was doing... that seems to be the general public's excuse anyways... but, we kind of stopped communication on awkward terms, on my part anways. He had a thing for me, sent me letters and things, and I kind of ignored him... mmmmmm well hopefully it will be 4 years ago in his head as well, and done with.
