In my Stanford Continuing Ed Reader's Digest Condensed Guide to Quantum Field Theory class (No, it's not actually called that. I just wish it was.) the professor pulled in a lot of hard, sticky ideas that I was just getting to in my classes as SFSU. Only in those classes, some of the hard, sticky ideas weren't sticking too well because--well--they were hard, but also because they had nothing to stick to.
Now I know why we were learning that stuff. And boy, do I miss school.
