Another Whinge
I’ve been sick since Friday. Some kind of fluey, head cold thing, it’s been nasty, at one point I looked at my tonsils and couldn’t see the back of my throat they were so swollen. I haven’t been to the doctor because I find that they are a waist of time, with this sort of thing. I haven’t been able to think clearly so I haven’t been doing the best things to get over it. For one, I’ve been on a diet this whole time, that was a stupid idea considering my body needs extra energy to fight the infection. I have been sleeping a lot though which has been good because I love sleeping, but the first few days the sleep was peppered with pain and so tossing and turning, which wasn’t good, but that settled. Also I’ve had a few feverish worried sleeps which I hate, but last night the worry was minimal and I was able to get some really nice sleep. I feel heaps better so far today. So now I’m going to the doctor if I can get an appointment. Yep they finally just gave me one after 3 phone calls I now have one for 3 o’clock today. I going to get a medical certificate because I don’t think I’ll be able to attend my first Laboratory class tomorrow and they are each worth 5% of our grade. Due to the sickness I haven’t done anything or seen anyone since Friday, all I’ve done is sleep and play Second Life, but hopefully I’m getting better now. Anyway off to the doctors with me now.
