lil' ol' me
i'm on break from school this week which marks the half-way point in my 2 years of graduate school. this is partially why the Vrooom! reunion is planned for this Tursday.
i just received word that i have an A in my last class which keeps my GPA at a 4.0.
of special excitement is that my department chairperson/advisor said if i keep up the same level of work through the second year, i am in line to become the valedictorian of the graduating class. this means i would fly to new york to give a speech. he also mentioned interest in keeping me around as an adjunct professor for the program.

when i started this masters program, i though passing was my goal, keeping my head above water while managing some minute piece of quality time with grant....but this is a crazy good unexpected twist. of course, i still have to do the work and make it happen...but the proverbial carrot is in place and i'm motivated.
normally i'm not a big bragger but this makes me pleased as punch.
i hope to see y'all tursday at the same time & same old place.
