(no subject)
It's been far too long since I've posted. I'm a lazy little thing. Not a whole lot going on. Being depressed all the time makes for a very long and tedious life.
I'm on new meds now. Effexor and Ativan along with my Zoloft. They also upped my pain meds (Durogesic patch) in an attempt to get me off all the pills. I haven't started using the patch yet, though, b/c I'm a little bit freaked out about using something so strong.
On to the important stuff. Jacob is getting so big. He's sleeping through the night now...no more middle of the night bottles. Thank God!!! We took him to the pediatrician last Friday. He's 16 lbs 14 oz and 30" long. 25th % for weight and off the charts for height. He's been saying da-da for a few days now as well as ma-ma once. I don't think he realizes what he's saying, though. He's just making sounds. We got him a Jumperoo (which he LOVES) and an Intellitainer (I think he was bored silly with his Leap Frog). He loves them both. He's eating much more regularly now that we have him on a schedule and he actually goes down while he's still slightly awake. Life is good. This weekend will be his first Easter...I'm so excited about that...
On a more private note... I finally got my first period since having Jacob. The first one since November of 2003. Wow, that's a long time. Hurt like a son of a bitch. And bled like there was no tomorrow. Yuck. Finally over, now. If only my back wasn't so screwed up, we'd be talking about a brother or sister for Jacob right now
