Okay, so I need help deciding an element of my Halloween costume. I'm going to be "The Devil's Advocate", but McCain is going to be the Devil. So I'm making buttons that read things like "Vote Satan", "Devil's #1", and one with a picture of McCain in devil horns, and then I'm making a shirt that mocks the McCain/Palin campaign poster, and it will read "Lucifer/.......". I have to fill in the blank, I need an evil female counterpart to the devil. Now, here are the two top ideas right now, and I can't decide which to go with.
1. I've learned that Lillith is the only demonic/evil female mentioned in the Bible. Now I like that she is biblically related, so it makes more sense that she would be paired with the devil. But I'm worried people won't understand the reference and her name won't be quickly recognized .
2. Nicole's mom suggested Cruella ... which is good because it's such a recognizable name/character, but it isn't related to the devil at all. She's just an evil character. But I really like the name recognition.
So, I need to know which is better. What do you think is more important? Do you think people will know the Lillith reference? And does it matter if they don't, because most people probably won't get my costume anyway. I'll know it's fabulous though. :)
Okay, thoughts please, and thank you.
