Women VP's for the Vagina vote and my "racism"
Men REALLY think women'll vote for someone JUST BECAUSE they are a woman! Really! They really really do! That's how unintelligent and emotionally crazy they think we are! Seriously!
ESPECIALLY white males of influence, apparently.
I don't know what is more offensive. McCain picking a female running mate with less political experience than my little finger JUST BECAUSE she has a vagina and he thinks that will make more women or anyone else that supported Hillary vote for him now....
Or the fact that I hear my "very well off" white male bosses whispering in their offices about his decision. Saying he's 'officially won over the female vote' and being terrified that even though they want him to win, he might die and then 'she would ACTUALLY be President!"

Before all of this, I've been really torn on who to vote for. Anyone is better than Bush. And I always liked McCain...except now he comes off as a bit crazy and I can't really get behind him like I used to.
But Barack just seemed so fake. Such an asswipe. Something about him just always turned me off. Which, it is quite possible, came from listening to all of the crazy things in the media...but like I said, anyone is better than Bush.
I sat on my couch last night wondering if I didnt like him because he was black. I was actually scared that maybe I was being the racist turd-face that I grew up around... If he wasn't black, would I even be hesitating to vote for him? He seems like the obvious choice, especially after everything this country has went through the last 8 years...
I really WAS worried it might be a subconscious racism toward him. But after weighing my feelings on the both of them I came to the conclusion that it's being a registered Republican and past supporter of McCain that has me so hesitant to side with Barack. I mean, I wrote McCain's name in on the 2004 ballot, for crying out loud!
I'm still undecided on who I will vote for...but I'm no longer worried that I wont vote for Barack because he is black....or that I WILL vote for him because he is black and I'm scared of being seen as a racist.
