My mom works 7 days a week, between her two stores. It's really tough when I go home and don't really get to spend too much time with her. This summer, I spent most of my days at the store just so I could be with her, even though she's always running around and busy.
But like you, I understand it and I'm proud of my mom for being so ambitious, for the greater good of our family.
I'm glad you can relate and understand at the same time. I know when I lived there the way I spent time with her was in the car. If she had errands, and places to be, but could fit me in between...I would stay in the car. Sometimes for hours....waiting at the university or other places she had to be. Three hours is easy now. I knew that the traffic inbetween would give us time...and that maybe we do something after the business. I don't know if I ever saw it till today, I'd always been understanding, but I didn't know why. Then hearing my brother was picking me up and why...it kind of made sense.
Hello :) I see that you are about to go on a little trip so you might not receive this message until you return but I wandered into you journal because you left a comment in a post I made in thriftwhore. I think we may have things in common and was wondering if you'd like to trade an "add"?
