My mother was given a Chromebook/laptop for her new job. They have many nurses and aides so charting and making notes on patients is much easier if everyone can do so online. Her signature on her charting that she told me kept disappearing but not showing up in the finished charting...turns out she was clicking cancel and not "sign and save"
Tonight I showed her how to do a screen shot and told her from now on if she gets something she doesn't understand to take a shot of it so I can see it later. She insisted all the way home from work that the computer was broken because a screen that said "xfinity and stuff" would appear. Since she already said she tried to connect to the wifi at her last house I was assuming it had something to do with that but she would t listen. I needed to fix it. She gets home and opens it to show me and it wasn't there...because you know, it was about signing in at a patients house. But this is obviously my fault. Because when she first told me the problem I couslnt fix it by phone. But well, "xfinity and stuff" isn't helpful on what needs to be done and she's already shut down the computer. Which is all why the screen shots. If she emails them to me I can probably walk her through these problems.
