Let me show you them
I WOULD LIKE TO TALK ABOUT POKEMON mainly because the rest of my life seems disinteresting to the world, but everybody luuuvs pokeman, so yeah
First off, my current team:
Male Luxray (Lumos), lvl 42
Male Umbreon (Ember), lvl 57
Female Dragonair (Shard), lvl 51
Female Lapras (Siren), lvl 54
Male Typhlosion (Torque), lvl 60
Lugia (Horus), lvl 55
SO. IS MY TEAM GOOD?? I'm currently working on leveling up Luxray and Dragonair, since they're the newest additions. I swapped out my Ampharos for a Shinx just a few days ago since Shinx (and its evolutions) are my favorite electric types. I caught him at level 3 when my Ampharos was at lvl 57 ~.~; Yes, I am definitely drawing out my game at this point. Dragonair recently replaced my Onix, which regardless of my efforts insisted on sucking at everything except taking it in the mouth from electric-types.
I have noticed that it is of somewhat popular opinion that having legendary Pokemon on your team is cheap. So, should I swap out Lugia? I like Lugia quite a bit, but it's not one of my absolute favorites. Once Dragonair becomes a Dragonite (and thus can learn fly), should I scrap Lugia for Mew, my old Alakazam, or some other awesome psychic type? Or should I get my Onix to evolve into Steelix (would have to wait to trade it) and use him? I am not a big fan of Steelix, but apparently he's good to have??
My team is pretty much perfect (full of variety/my favorites) except for my dilemma there :/ Defs keeping Luxray, Umbreon, Lapras, and Typhlosion, just not sure of what to do with Lugia once my Dragonair evolves. Keep him or swap him with a psychic-/steel-type??
I feel kind of silly fretting about this so late in the game, but I really want to have an awesome team to go up against Red that is balanced, powerful, and filled with all my faves. I'm currently dawdling right outside Mt. Silver, leveling everyone up (mainly Luxray).
I'm not above making it last forever lawls, gotta draw it out until Black and White gets released over here. Totally addicted at this point, yes indeed. I'm so glad I finally got into these games *__*
Also, went to EPCOT over the weekend and picked up two disgustingly adorable pokedolls, Lapras and Shinx, bringing my total collection of pokedolls to five (others are Umbreon, Espeon, and Mew). Not gonna go crazy, just getting my faves if I happen to see them. They're tiny enough not to take over my room, which is otherwise becoming mature. I have very few plush toys/figures on display these days, and no more anime posters on my walls. But yeah... glad to still have at least a few childish interests to squeal about :3
