Sam and John. Getting along with each other. ♥ Also, love that Dean is the one who insists on Sam finishing school. That whole conversation. (Dean is totally the mom in this family.) And then the chimps with their mothers, and Sam completely missing the significance.

I am interested in Sam's thought process just after the hospital, though. Where he didn't care if anyone found him and didn't call for Dean.

(Also, this makes me wonder if John ever met Jess.)

Dean is TOTALLY THE MOM. And yeah, ugh, Sam doesn't really GET the dead mom thing the way Dean and John do, because he never really had a mom.

John did not meet Jess.

Sam was just feeling so embarrassed and so fragile by the whole incident, and he just wanted to be alone where no one could touch him, really. And he knew Dean would yell (out of worry, absolutely, but still yell) and he just wasn't ready to deal with anyone.

Makes sense. That's kind of what I thought was going on, but I thought I'd ask :)

yep :) that's totally how I see it. I'm really crazy about John and Sam's relationship. I'm murkier on John and Dean's.
