I had a brush with mortality recently and morbidly got one of those brochures for a pre paid funeral. Family motto goes on the headstone "Summam nec metuam diem, nec optem". My male cousins have been told that if one particular person turns up they will be "encouraged to leave" with baseball bats and pickaxe handles.

A very Scottish blog post today, the chiefship of Clan MacEwen is to be filled after 600 years. Don't worry I am not going to challenge it.
