i was stupid today. i fell asleep in the recliner after school while watching cartoons and woke up at like 5:20, except i was thoroughly convinced that it was 5:20 in the morning, and i was like, oh crap, i need to get in the shower. so i went upstairs (i figured i had set the wake-up thing on the tv, even though now i don't think it actually has

See? There's yet another advantage to using 24-hour time. If you'd woken up and looked at your watch and it said "1720" you'd jus say "awesome! I slept all day!" and go back to sleep. No panic, no weird looks. But then again, you wouldn't have much of an entry either, so I guess it may have been worthwhile...

an excellent point. only thing is, i can't read military time. at all. i have a crippling mental block when it comes to that and i am often fightened by it. oh well, the horrors of civilain time have made my life much more exciting, anyway.
