(no subject)
i was stupid today. i fell asleep in the recliner after school while watching cartoons and woke up at like 5:20, except i was thoroughly convinced that it was 5:20 in the morning, and i was like, oh crap, i need to get in the shower. so i went upstairs (i figured i had set the wake-up thing on the tv, even though now i don't think it actually has that) and i peeked into my mom's room and it was dark, but her bed was all made and she was nowhere to be found. then i looked in matt's room (ewww) and he wasn't there either. so i was like, dude what the crap? and then i started freaking out, like maybe they had been kidnapped or something. so i called my mom's cell phone and asked her where she was, and she told me that she was on her way home from work. and then i understood everything and felt like the biggest idiot in the world, which i very well may be. and then i told her what happened and she laughed at me. yeah. i am quite stupid when i'm half-asleep.
other than that (and school) things are quite fabulous. the birthday went great. my favorite present was from my sister, sarah. she and her husband sent me a föm pillow. it is the greatest thing in the entire world. i mean, really.
i'm so excited we don't have school tomorrow. but i have to work. urg. and i have to take matt to football practice at 9 so i don't even really get to sleep in. (grumble, grumble.) but at least the phone-a-thon got cancelled. now i can relax for a few hours.
i have been way too busy lately. i don't know what my problem is.
oh, i signed up for indoor drumline! how exciting! i actually am looking forward to it. i love those guys. should be fun, fun, fun.
