things have been smashing lately. smashing is not a term i use very often, but i think it fits my situation quite nicely. i don't know... i have just been exceedingly happy for the last couple days.
let's see, yesterday. what did i do yesterday? i don't quite remember. oh yeah i do. ha.
in the morining i helped david with his eagle project. i spent like an hour and a half helping him shovel dirt with chip. so that was fun. i had to leave to go to work, which was work, and we shall leave it at that. then i went to my dad's house and watched "the new guy" on channel 16 (edited version...ugh.) so now i really must rent it because it was funny as crap.
then today was quite awesome. i went in to work and no one came all day long because of the weather (except of course for the old ladies who do aqua aerobics in the mornings.) so i went out around noon and got some china garden which, frankly, can't even touch no.1, but was worth it. on the way back to work i FINALLY discovered how to make the windshield washer fluid squirt up onto the windshield in leah's car. once i did it it seemed so obvious and i felt so retarded that i was cracking up the entire way back to work. it was a grand old time.
after work i got within a block of my house and decided to just keep driving. (i was having an extremely fun time singing with shania twain.) so i went further down shore drive to a neighborhood i used to live in. i went by to check out my old house but it was GONE. they had built another one there. a horrible too-new-looking thing with plastic siding. my old house was adorable and had wooden sisng. this thing didn't look like it belonged in the neighborhood. -scoff.- after that i went home, feeling slightly blue, and cleaned my room because sarah and corey and simeon came into town tonight and are taking it over. i am always so happy when they come here. i love my family so much.
anyhoo. perhaps you are wondering about the title. i bought a book on tuseday called the essential crazy widsom by wes "scoop" nisker. it is beyond discription, really. if you are at all interested in eastern religions and philosophy, as i am, i highly suggest reading it. its amazing. ask me and you can borrow it. (when i am finished, that is.)
that's about all for now... i'm pooped!
good night!
