Well it's time to get my feet wet in the kiddie pool of politics. Todays exercise, the Southern Border (or lack thereof), and what I think would be the best way to approach it. What every seems to want to do is put the military out there, since we have them "policing" (I am using this word rather liberally) Iraq, why not our own Border right?

Whjat about re-deploying the guys that are leaving Germany?

Eh...those poor bastards are going to get re deployed to Iraq more then likely, now you want to deploy them on the border during there only break time? I still feel the best way is increase the border patrol numbers. It would cost too much for DoD to retrain the military for a policing action on the border.
